A breath of fresh air.

Heading outdoors for a breath of fresh air, a break in the clouds is on the horizon and a break from everyday is definitely needed.

Wellies on, across the wide fields

Some freshly turned, ready for new plantings.

Muddy puddles reflecting the grey skies.

Old barns overgrown with rusted machinery.

Hedgerows hiding a handful of birds that dare to fly between the brambles.

Cornus mas, a welcome sight (the first to flower) unfurling with fresh buds

And pussy willow wrapped up against the cold march wind,

With catkins dangling along the dirt tracks,

Waving in the spring.
